Thawzi was one of the first Crabbet mares to come to Arista. We acquired her through trade from Chelsea with the likes of Hamsahka, *Aleksandra and Pavlik. As Chelsea said of her, she is a big bodied mare and also like Chelsea, we hope to bring her size in to produce horses with more substance. Thawzi is sired GA Topaz. He is a flashy 1983 chestnut stallion full of movement. Thawzi is out of Aura Alya, an amazing parti-colored Aulrab daughter. She was a great broodmare in her day, but due to a foaling problem cannot foal again.
